These Terms of Use govern your use of the Root to Crown mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using Root to Crown, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Root to Crown is a wellness and nutrition guidance application. It is designed to support your personal health and wellbeing through chakra-aligned nutrition recommendations, healing protocols, food journaling, and AI-assisted guidance.
Root to Crown is not a medical device, healthcare provider, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the Service should be construed as medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or health practices.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Root to Crown. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. By using Root to Crown you represent that you meet these requirements.
You may use Root to Crown without creating an account, but certain features require registration. When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@roottocrown.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it current. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.
Root to Crown offers free access and two paid subscription tiers, Bloom and Crown, billed monthly. All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you authorise Apple to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
You agree to use Root to Crown only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You agree not to:

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take prescription medication, consult your healthcare provider before following any recommendations from the Service.
All content within Root to Crown, including the app design, healing protocols, bowl descriptions, scientific content, Zuri's responses, and the Root to Crown name and logo, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and intellectual property law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content in the Service without our express written permission. Personal, non-commercial use of the app's content for your own healing practice is permitted.
When you create content within the Service, such as food journal entries, photographs, and personal notes, you retain ownership of that content. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and use it solely to provide the Service to you.
You represent that any content you submit does not violate any third-party rights and complies with these terms. We do not sell or share your personal content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
Zuri, the AI nutrition assistant in Root to Crown, is powered by large language model technology. Responses from Zuri are generated algorithmically and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.
You should treat Zuri's responses as general guidance only, not as personalised medical or nutritional advice. We are not liable for any outcomes resulting from following Zuri's suggestions without independent professional verification.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Root to Crown and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to health outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may stop using Root to Crown and delete your account at any time from within the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms, without prior notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Root to Crown operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
